Coaching for Writers:
Pure strategy and accountability support. We focus on your writing process, goals, and professional development through one-on-one sessions. No manuscript review—just dedicated space to develop your path forward as a writer. I offer both a-la-carte coaching meetings and complete packages.
Developmental Editing (Nonfiction):
A deep-dive partnership that begins with understanding your vision and concludes with actionable revision strategies. Includes an initial consultation to understand your goals, a comprehensive manuscript analysis, and a follow-up meeting to discuss detailed recommendations on structure, style, character development, and narrative mechanics.
Professional Beta-Reading (Fiction and Nonfiction):
I’ll give your manuscript a focused read-through that captures both reader experience and craft insights. You'll receive detailed notes on my real-time reactions (where I laugh, where tension builds, where clarity wavers) plus additional feedback on specific concerns upon request. No meetings—just honest, knowledgeable feedback from a professional that your friends might hesitate to give or lack the technical background to provide. Plan for a ten-day turnaround time.
Public Speaking:

My unique perspective on book development comes from seeing the publishing industry from multiple angles. As an MFA graduate in Creative Nonfiction, I understand the craft of transforming expertise into engaging prose. As a former bookstore owner, I know what makes readers pick up—and purchase—a book. This blend of creative and commercial insight helps me guide authors in developing books that appeal to publishers and readers.
Being a writer myself and having coached many others through their journeys, I intimately understand the challenges and triumphs of the writing process.
